inamoment Theatre Company & theWorkshop present
One Christmas Eve
by Frank Bramwell
It’s Christmas Eve – tension’s high, expectations are at peak level, and there’s definitely something in the air. The play is a set of 3 inter-cutting monologues that tell three different sides of Christmas Eve as Mom, Dad and daughter face the coming Christmas Day. As each character’s stories unfold the audience see the face of Christmas as it changes over the years.
This new play has been workshopped, and it develops the innovative Theatre style that inamoment Theatre Company have evolved over the years; strong emphasis on words and acting, unlocking the power of the audience’s imagination through monologues, and focusing on life in Birmingham (the play forms part of the BrumBeats cycle of plays).
